My most used camera of late 2025: OM System OM-3

In my previous post, I mentioned that I had been shooting more with an older DSLR, the Canon 6D. However, it hasn’t been the only digital camera I’ve used. In fact, during the latter part of the year, my most-used camera was the OM System OM-3, which I purchased in early July.

In many ways, it is almost the opposite of the 6D: new, mirrorless, and built around a smaller sensor. At first, I wasn’t entirely sure whether I really needed this camera or what role it would have in my kit. But the more I used it, the more I grew to like it, and it gradually became the camera I reached for most often.

I have a long history with Olympus and OM System cameras, so the OM-3 felt familiar right from the start. To me, it’s a genuinely pleasant and enjoyable camera to shoot with, one that both looks and feels right.

I’m not aiming to write a proper review of the camera at this point, perhaps that is something for later (after a year of use?). For now, I just wanted to share some of the images I’ve made with it so far.
